Join us for a heartwarming and eco-friendly adventure as Cattalina guides you through the enchanting Upcycled Mushy Plushies Workshop. Discover the joy of transforming your old, worn-out clothes and tattered soft toys into a new mushroom cushion!

What to Expect:

• Creative Transformation: Learn how to repurpose and upcycle old materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. Turn your sentimental or damaged items into a new, huggable mushroom cushion with the guidance of the very talented Cattalina.
• Sustainable Crafting: Embrace the ethos of sustainability by using only upcycled materials. No need for new supplies – scour second-hand stores or bring items from your own home to breathe new life into forgotten treasures.
• Express Yourself: Customize your Fungi Cushion with a variety of textures, colours, and patterns. Let your creativity flourish as you craft a one-of-a-kind mushroom cushion that tells a unique story.

Event Details:

• Date and Time: Fri 22 March, 4:30-7pm
• Location: Envirohub, 31B Glasgow street, Tauranga
• Materials Needed: Old clothes and/or soft toys (fabric and stuffing), fabric scraps, and any sentimental items you wish to upcycle. The Fungi Fest team will supply the rest. 
• Price: $20 per person (minimum age 8years) - very limited spaces!

Please note:

All children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult - we are all about learning together! You can book one spot and collaborate on one piece or book 2 spots and help each other out with your own individual creations.

This is not a learn to sew class so basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine is required.
