Join us to make your old damaged or holey clothes into something revived and cool again! Whether they’re worn from age, or caught on a nail you didn’t see, we’ll be stitching mushroom patches over those holey spots to add a pop of personality and make them look mush better!

About the event
What to Expect…
Choose something to mend: Pick from a huge range of preloved clothing items from Turning Point Trust (only $1 each!) or bring an item from home.
Make a patch: Choose from a range of fabric scraps or pick a preloved textile item ($1 ea) to turn into a patch to fit over the hole/damage on your garment.
Expert guidance: from the eccentric Affixed NZ crew to make your patch and sew it in place either by hand, or using one of the machines.
Please note that this is not a learn to sew class. If you do not know how to safely use a sewing machine then one of the team can do this for you or you can hand stitch your patch on.
Meet the crew: You'll be working with Sarah and Bobbi Summers (mother and daughter duo) and their amazing team of helpers. As artists of different types and…
