About Lee Ormsby Andricksen

Lee has been in the bush, mountain biking, tramping, day hiking etc. for many years! Her photography journey started with native birds but, in the last decade or so, she started noticing fungi.

When asked why fungi interests her she said "It's the sheer mind blowing variation in colours, textures, patterns. Shiny, covered in droplets, tiny details you can't even see with the naked eye. Every day in the bush is a treasure hunt, and it's mindless mindfulness. Great for calming my naturally somewhat anxious mind."

You can follow Lee on Instagram for loads of stunning macro photos of fungi and slime moulds - https://www.instagram.com/leemail67/
