Embark on a whimsical journey into the miniature world of fungi with this fungarium building workshop. Join us for an enchanting experience where you'll craft your very own tiny clay mushrooms for in your Fungarium – fungi terrarium!

What to Expect:

• Terrarium Construction: Bring a jar from home and transform it into a magical terrarium. Learn the art of layering soil, moss, and tiny decorative elements to create a self-contained world for tiny plants and your miniature fungi friends.
• Tiny Clay Mushrooms: Dive into the world of polymer clay crafting as you mould and shape tiny mushrooms under the guidance of our skilled creatives. Personalize your mushrooms with intricate details then add them to your terrarium to make it a fungarium!
• Express Your Creativity: This workshop encourages creativity and individual expression. Craft a unique Fungarium that reflects your style and imagination, and sculpt tiny clay mushrooms to inhabit your mini woodland world.

Event Details:

• Date and Time: Sunday 14th of April, 3-5pm
• Location: Envirohub, 31B Glasgow street, Tauranga
• Bring Your Own: Jar from home (essential) to use as the base for your Fungarium along with any special items you would like to add (shells, pebbles, twigs, etc)
• Minimum Age: 6 years
• Price:  $15 each

Please note:

All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times - we are all about learning together! You can book one spot and collaborate on a fungarium or book 2 spots and help each other out with your own individual fungariums.

What's Included:

• All materials needed for inside your Fungarium - soil, moss, plants 
• Polymer clay and all necessary sculpting tools for creating a set of tiny mushrooms - oven baked on the day
• Expert guidance from the Fungi Fest NZ team
